Medical Assistant Certified (Former Employee) –  Everett, WAJuly 5, 2017
They don't value truly certified Medical Assistants they hire "medical scribes" and real certified medical assistants do not get the compensation that they deserve. Turn over rate for employees is astronomical. Disorganized. Terrible work environment - stay clear. On the brightside coworkers are fun and from all the reps that come through you get free lunches.
Pros
free lunches / fun coworkers
Cons
terrible work environment / terrible pay / dis organized

Mostly friendly environment with a few exceptions.
Medical Assistant (Former Employee) –  Seattle, WAApril 11, 2017
Typical day of work was fun. LOTS of free food from drug reps and you also get to learn about new drugs coming out. The coworkers were extremely fun to work with and so were some of the providers. However, some providers expect a lot out of you as if you went to medical school but all in all it was a great learning experience. The clinic manager was one of my favorite people to work for. Very understanding and was always available for your needs.
Pros
Free lunches, great learning experiences
Cons
Some providers

Independent Surgical tech, C-arm operator (Current Employee) –  Washington StateJanuary 25, 2017
Because the company is family owned they have incredible bias interests in only how to make more money, the employees always come second. Most managers have zero experience and become overwhelmed leading to a high employee turnover

Family owned/run business makes this very toxic place to work for
Healthcare (Current Employee) –  Bellevue, WASeptember 2, 2016
Family owned and run business makes this very toxic place to work for MA, schedulers, lab workers, and providers. CEO is brother of lady who runs surgery center and she is married to one of the doctor partners...lots of ongoing management and personal conflicts because of this.

pain management group is owned by bigger group called Summit that has tried to own lots of the services they refer to, like urgent care, spine surgery, labs, compounding pharmacy, ambulatory surgery and procedure center and Zeeks pizza (you will get tired of eating this in admin). trying to promote growth they are pretty agressive with internal referrals and i think it hurts and costs patients in the end and they try to keep it secret. Trying to grow to quickly without knowing how to execute a plan.

Lots of rumors they are under investigation which i wouldnt be surprised if they were. Pretty bad patient service in scheduling especially but also docs treat ing patients like addicts who only deserve 2 minute visits, get a pain med refill and go in a cup for urine test they sent to the lab they own and probably overcharge patients for. basically no employee yearly review prob because management can't complement anyone but can only complain. CEO and his close circle are paranoid and have put cameras around every clinic to watch all employees and probably patients, also can't handle any criticism or listen to any other opinions...a shame because theres lots of good people who work there. They have zero trust of the people they hire, and it shows. Lots of promises to promote that never pan out because
more... they he just wants to keep you on and under paid for as long as possible.

if you stay long enough they probably let you into the inner circle of favorites and have you do the CEO's bidding and paranoid requests but prepare to bite your tounge when everyone you started with leaves for better jobs or been mysteriously fired when they speak up. job turnover is so high its embarassing. Not worth the job they offer, which will be low anyway. Keep shopping around but dont worry about waiting on their offer because they are desparate and always have jobs listed and they will have another an opening soon.

Don't be surprised if the next review is a 4 or 5 star glowing review because instead of making any real changes to management or how they treat employees the CEO will make someone in the company post a fake review to save face.

CMA (Former Employee) –  RentonSeptember 3, 2015
Was hired as a CMA but did the work of a clinic coordinator. Turn over very high. Poorly managed. Was told it was a stable company at a full 40 hours a week. Then the hours were cut followed by a lay off. Would never go back even if asked.
Pros
Great people to work with
Cons
Too many to list

billing specialist (Current Employee) –  bellevue waAugust 14, 2015
cool place to work because of the pay but overly micro managed..... everyone is out for themselves. you don't have a team environment i just don't see it here. everyone seems to be out for themselves. You don't have a basic structure on how to status old A/R it just sits on the books, gathering dusk.
Pros
awesome pay
Cons
micro managed

Healthcare Financial Analyst (Current Employee) –  WashingtonJune 11, 2013
I am more of a billing specialist than financial analyst. I am not saying billing is a bad field to get into, but for those looking for a more analytic role this is definitely not the job for you.
