Great place to work
Assistant Financial Center Manager (Former Employee), Newark, NJ –
Pros: set schedule
Cons: as a manager you couldn't really leave the branch for your lunch reak
Washington Mutual was one of the best jobs I had the stress level was very low and you actually got to work with a lot of god people. I learned a lot about morgages, credit ratings and good selling skills from them. The hardest part of the job was when the economy was in turmoil it effected the job overall(commission, goals and job security). Once the – more...  recession hit the branch I worked in was one of the branches that closed done. – less

Senior Loan Coordinator (Former Employee), sw freeway, houston texas –
Pros: free lunches on fridays
I loved getting up every morning and going into the office, the setting in the work place was about family and getting the job done in a professional manner. Management and supervisor was involved with the daily production and making sure the loans were closed in a timmely manner.

A busy bank, with lots of good people.
Bank Teller (Former Employee), Elk Grove, CA –
Pros: dealing with the public
Cons: dealing with the management
As a teller I was responsible for my own drawer only. I had to keep an apropriate amount in my drawer at all times. At the end of the day we made sure that our drawers were balanced. The management was aweful, you could feel the tension in the building as soon as you walked through the door. The best part of the job was dealing with the public. The – more...  worst part was dealing with poor management. – less

Approached work as work hard play hard which enables you to work better
Operations Analyst (Former Employee), New York, NY –
A typical day at work required me to review statistical data and respond to branches that was not doing well.
I learned that one of the most important thing when working in a company is to respond in a timely manor.
Management always had their doors open.
My co-workers always willing to lend a hand if needed.
The hardest part of the job was announcing – more...  bad news to the branch (regarding audit scores).
The most enjoyable part of the job is seeing the results of a branch once doing not so well now thriving and producing. – less

Operations Supervisor (Former Employee), New York, NY –
I worked closely with a great staff and amazing management team. I always ensured that i was the first to be there and the last to leave. Each day was different from the last, which provide a good challenge keeping me on my toes. I will change nothing about this position.

Lien Reconveyance Rep II (Former Employee), San Antonio, TX –
I enjoyed working with this company , started out just with inbound customer service, and advanced to Lien reconveyance through hard work and persistence. The most enjoyable was talking with the customers over the phone, and with my team members in the company.

productive and fun place to work
Team Manager / Operations (Former Employee), Campbell, CA –
All Team Leaders had a mutual respect for each other.
Team members worked together for a common goal which was to help their assinged loan officers.
The hardest part of the job was having new untrained loan officers submit incomplete data which would hold up the processing of said loan.
The most enjoyable part of the job was that all worked well together – more...  as a team. – less
