Washington Mutual was one of the best jobs I had the stress level was very low and you actually got to work with a lot of god people. I learned a lot about morgages, credit ratings and good selling skills from them. I loved getting up every morning and going into the office, the setting in the work place was about family and getting the job done in a professional manner. Management and supervisor was involved with the daily production and making sure the loans were closed in a timmely manner.

As a teller I was responsible for my own drawer only. I had to keep an apropriate amount in my drawer at all times. At the end of the day we made sure that our drawers were balanced. Was great place to work when bank was doing well. Loved my job in Treasury Mgmt Sales.

Management was negative. The compensation package was minimal. The turnover rate was high.

My tyical work day incuded : Opening the office. Serting the tone for the work day by performing a daily huddle with team members. Meet and greeted all new and potential clients. Assist sales team in closing the deal on difficult sales. Monitor tellers interaction with clientele aand provide feedback whenever necessary.

A typical day at work required me to review statistical data and respond to branches that was not doing well.
I learned that one of the most important thing when working in a company is to respond in a timely manor.
Management always had their doors open.
My co-workers always willing to lend a hand if needed.

Working for Washington Mutual has taught me how to engage with my customers vocally. My duties included inbound calls from customers inquiring about deposit accounts. Must have the ability to multitask, i love to multitask.

I worked closely with a great staff and amazing management team. I always ensured that i was the first to be there and the last to leave. Each day was different from the last, which provide a good challenge keeping me on my toes. I will change nothing about this position.

The company went out of business. 2008 was a bad year for most banks, Washington Mutual was no different.

I enjoyed working with this company , started out just with inbound customer service, and advanced to Lien reconveyance through hard work and persistence. The most enjoyable was talking with the customers over the phone, and with my team members in the company.

All Team Leaders had a mutual respect for each other.
Team members worked together for a common goal which was to help their assinged loan officers.
The hardest part of the job was having new untrained loan officers submit incomplete data which would hold up the processing of said loan.

I've been in the same position for eleven years. I am leaving because I am moving.
