Large independent insurance agency in Austin, Texas is seeking an Administrative Receptionist. Position involves greeting guests at reception desk, answering all incoming calls, handling incoming and outgoing mail, as well as keeping workrooms, conference rooms and common areas stocked, tidy and organized. Administrative Receptionist will largely work tasks independently and will be expected to be a central pillar in a busy office.
Minimum of 3 years recent receptionist / office assistant / administrative assistant experience required. Applicants with recent insurance agency experience, well-versed in TAM agency management software and licensed Texas insurance agents are most preferred. Candidates must be professional in deeds and appearance, must be well-spoken, and have excellent writing skills in client and carrier correspondence. Punctuality, reliability and ability to handle the stress of a bustling office are essential qualities. Fluency in the Spanish language in addition to the listed desired skills and experience is a plus.
Position is full-time, hourly with benefits and competitive pay.
