Truancy Officer, Waukegan, IL - January 10, 2017
A typical day began with helping security get students get through the medical detectors at the doors.I would then go to my office and check for my assigned students attendance. I learned how to work with young people and not judge. My supervisor was pretty good until the end of my employment. The hardest part of my job was convincing some of the students that they could change their attendance around and succeed. The most enjoyable part of my job was seeing the difference my caring made in a students life.
