Student Researcher (Former Employee), Detroit, MI – May 22, 2012
Pros: helping, research, team work
Cons: research, management
The University was nice to work for I learned many researching and group work skills. A typical day consisted of differing projects that would be distributed at the beginning of each shift and according to the process of research we were in at the time. The management was good and very understanding. My co-workers were great. Working at Wayne was like – more... being part of a family we all understood our jobs and respected each other. The hardest part of the jobs was going into the metro city and witnessing the devastation within the city. The most enjoyable part of the job was knowing the research being does was helping with a cause needed for the people to help with the metro city. – less

Office Assistant (Former Employee), Detroit, MI – April 28, 2012
Cons: it was only temporary.
A typical day was I would help keep office supplies (including coffee) stocked. I would answer all calls, transfer them when needed, take messages when needed. I learned how to remain busy even on a slow day. Management was good. My co-workers were good. Everyone really had their own offices. The hardest part was when it was slow, I would have to find – more... something to do. I like to remain busy from begining to the end of my shift. Going home knowing everything important has been accomplished was nice. The most enjoyable I would have to say was meeting with proffessors and their families at times at functions. – less
