STUDENT CUSTODIAL WORKER, Waynesboro, PA - June 13, 2016
While working for the school district, I did many different jobs. This work is strictly over the summer and involves cleaning all furniture in classrooms, bathrooms, and hallways. I also assisted in building furniture, moving furniture, and any other odd jobs requested by my supervisors. I worked with a team of full-time custodial workers who were one of the primary reasons for my return the following summer. Doing "hard labor" all day, albeit difficult, was not the hardest part of the job. The minimal pay and now restricted hours is difficult to deal with as I am saving for college and for other endeavors and is definitely the hardest aspect to deal with.
