I am in the Training & Procedures group. I work for the Operations department analyizing, writing training and procedures. Currently at the Vitrification plant. It appears that they are in a down size mode with layoffs imminent.
I learned about the use of Powerpoint for slide show presentations in training.
Management are interesting folks. Like all facilities, each have their own empire to maintain.
Co-workers are a great bunch of ex-Navy nukes to work with under a high pressure job.
Hardest part of the job: not knowing if the layoffs will hit our group.
Most enjoyable part of the job: being able to search multiple databases for information
