I just had my second anniversary at Weatherby and still loving it! There's a reason why we are #3 in the Fortune 100's Best Companies to Work For. Yes, it is high stress and yes, it is a lot of work but the potential to do very well is not just there -but very attainable. The support team is not just knowledgeable but will go above and beyond the call – more... of duty to make it happen. I love-love-love my team, they have taught me so much about the business and are always there to answer any questions I have. Management has been great with me, jump in when I need help and even assist when I'm on vacation! As long as you're willing to put in the time & effort to make it happen -you'll succeed! I have been at Weatherby for over three years now. I am so glad that I made it “my place of choice”. Not only does Weatherby have a wonderful reputation in the Healthcare Industry but the culture in the office makes you feel like part of the family. Over the past three years I have developed strong relationships with coworkers at all levels and have – more... helped my team grow. Initially, my team was four people, now we have developed in to a team with 10 employees and a dedicated manager. While I was initially hesitant to get in to the industry, I have enjoyed building relationships with physicians and hospitals across the country. Every time I hear a story of a successful patient interaction/outcome, I feel pride in what Weatherby does and what I do to contribute to our success. We make a difference in people’s lives on a daily basis and I am extremely grateful that I overcame my initial hesitancy and joined the Weatherby family. – less

Weatherby's motto is "Putting People First" and the company delivers on that motto every day and in many ways. It is very unusual for a company the size of Weatherby to have a family feel, yet that is the environment. They do hold us accountable, however, and it is the responsibility of each individual to perform. I've been a part of Weatherby Healthcare for about 8 months now; this is the best opportunity I've ever come across! IF you are driven, don't mind a little hard work and have a desire to succeed, Weatherby is the place to be! From the trip to Salt Lake City to our weekly meetings, I enjoy the training. Very stressful job with high expectation of goals. No one on my team or the company rarely hits goals since I've been working there over a year. They set the goals so high to give them a reason to fire you. Of course they say that they want you to be successful, but it is not realistic to hit the goals in your first year. Maybe your second year (if – more... you don’t get fired first). Very, high turnover rate. The numbers they project are not accurate with regard to turnover rate. It is very high! It is very cut throat and most everyone is in fear of losing their jobs. This is not a stable job and if you are young with no responsibility (living with mom and dad) this is a great opportunity to learn some multitasking skills as you will be required to perform many functions and responsibilities. However, I would not recommend this company to anyone. Two of my friends I got in the company are no longer there. The salary is very low and commissions are %5 until you generate 150k in gross margin then you get bumped to 11% and on to 30% over 400k in margin. Caveat: You will be splitting the GM with another consultant making it nearly impossible to hit 150k your first year. Once you hit your 1 year mark, you reset back to ZERO! High stressful job! If you can survive on barely $500/wk for over a year then I wish you a ton of luck because this job you will need a lot of luck! – less

When I started at Weatherby, everyone spoke about the culture. Coming from a previous company that did not have a strong set of values and culture, I did not fully understand what everyone was talking about. Can you name another place - that you can come in to work, have the potential to earn over 300k, wear shorts, play ping pong, work out, watch TV - all on site? This company is amazing. Yes difficult, and sales has a turnover, but only if you arent producing - even then the company does everything to coach its people properly and gives them the best – more... chance to succeeed. – less

After working for 8 consecutive years in construction management, I decided about 1 year ago that it was time to make a change for several reasons…the main one being the slow down in the construction industry. I began to explore other options, utilizing several search engines, and happened to come across an ad on an online career site about CHG/Weatherby. – more... My first thought was: “how can I possibly switch gears completely into a field that I know absolutely nothing about,” but the overpowering gut feeling was: “what do you have to lose? After all, the medical field is just about the only one still growing at a fast pace in this slow economy.” So, I did it…I applied online, and in a matter of days was contacted to schedule a phone interview. Everything seemed to flow so naturally from that point on. I was overwhelmed by the attentiveness and professionalism of each member of the company I came into contact with…all the way up to top management. I have been a member of the Weatherby family for the past 7 months, and for the first time in my professional career, I can honestly say that I wake up each day excited to come to work. Despite my fears of being a “fish out of water” in an industry which was new to me, the top notch training I was provided and the continuous support and encouragement I receive, give me the confidence I need to keep traveling down this amazing road of success. Weatherby is a great place to work! In fact, it’s even ranked in Fortune and Modern Healthcare as such which is the result of EMPLOYEE feedback/surveys. In full disclosure, it’s NOT for someone who expects to make money without effort, but truly the company changed my life. Weatherby is truly a golden opportunity for anyone that wants to succeed in every aspect of life. I've raised two children as a single parent and could never have the positive results without the assistance of my second family, Weatherby. When I first started, someone said you have to be a "nice person" to work at Weatherby. Both myself and this person – more... are here, with many others for the past 11 years. Yes, you must be nice and ETHICAL! Our core values go beyond the walls of our office. Our CEO, CFO, President, everyone is just so open and sincere, genuinely caring for every employee, as if they were blood related. The golden opportunity has allowed me to form so many wonderful relationships with physicians. This is just another extension leading to the care of patients. There are physicians that I have worked with for years, that have become so close, we visit each other's home and celebrate our families together. For the first time in years - I can honestly say - I love my job.

There's a definite work hard - play hard mentality at Weatherby. This is a fast paced environment and if you can't keep up, you will get left behind. But, if you're a smart and talented person, and deal with people honestly and ethically, the rewards here are endless.
Unbelievably fun – more... culture. Casual dress. Great team environment. Managers that lead by example. Uncapped commissions. Great benefits. Generous PTO policy and great people to work with.

Why would anyone want to work anywhere else?
Is this an easy job? No. They actually expect employees to pull their weight and contribute. They pay you to train, teach you a skill and expect you to execute - is that too much to ask in today's economy?

If you've got what it takes, Weatherby Healthcare is a great place to build a lucrative career. My only regret is not finding Weatherby earlier in my professional life. – less

great camaraderie among coworkers. being a sales job there are metrics to meet, so you really have to bury your head and work hard but the rewards are great if you are productive.

I have been with Weatherby for over 4 years and it is a great work environment with all the support in the world. You are supplied with all the tools you need to succeed and there are many seasoned leaders that are here to assist every step of the way. Commissions are low to start as a sales consultant but all the senior recruiters have been through – more... it and once you get over the hump there is no limit to the revenue you can bring in for the company and ultimately yourself! – less

I typically don't write reviews but I saw some of the negative ones here and it really bothered me. Weatherby is fantastic company. I have been here for 4 years and still feel blessed for being part of this organization. We work hard and have a lot of fun in the process. In my short time here so far, it has been amazing. Leaders are willing to help you success and grow. The business partners/support staff always give 100% with a smile. I have never been apart of such a great company. There is always some activity or event for the staff. Wish I was here years ago.
