You get the chance to work on some really big brands and develop a strong work ethic. Associates are overall a nice group of people and are only held back by the inefficiencies and internal politics that plague the office. If you aren't one of the "chosen" you will be consistently under review and micromanaged throughout the 10+ hour days while the "chosen" climb the ladder and are never questioned, regardless of experience or skill set.
There is a veil of culture which includes a ping pong table and a dog friendly space. The office is very industrial with concrete floors and exposed HVAC.
You get an old laptop as your main computer which allows (demands) you to "stay connected" on the weekends and vacations.
"Welcome new employee" breakfasts are nice touch. And since they occur on a consistent basis due to the high turnover, you can always look forward to the next one a few weeks down the road.
If you are looking to get thrown in and learn the ropes of hard work, big brands, office politics, and managing up, this is the place for you. If you are looking for a highly creative environment where you get to develop and grow into the best ad/marketing person you can be, then look elsewhere.
