I have accepted a position pending a criminal background check. I did have a deferred judgment and was wondering if this will disqualify me from the position. This is in Iowa. I am really stressing out about it, so if anyone has some info please let me know asap. I have read that it could and i have read that won't. Any info?

The recent press release about rescreening current TM's is so stressful :( I have an arrest record for petty theft in 1995 which i disclosed in my app.. been working for 3 yrs now. I got in w/o a bgc but since they are going to rescreen everyone, i am literally stressed out. trying to think positive that i get considered under the de minimis criteria. Does anyone have a similar situation and outcome? thanks.

Hello,
I Applied on line a few weeks ago for a part time teller. Did the screening and past. Scheduled my that same week which was last week. Had my interview and it went will because I knew which questions would be asked thanks to Indeed. I volunteered for introductions and spoke clearly through out the entire interview. She said she would let us know the next day if it was a yes or no through a email. Its been over a week and I have not heard back at all. Should I be worried? How long does it take to hear anything? I am somewhat young and still in college. Do you think that would be a negative thing? I have banking experience with a privately own bank and have worked in customer service for almost five years though? This is extremely frustrating.
