Working at Wells Fargo

  • Gma802014 1 day ago
I have accepted a position pending a criminal background check. I did have a deferred judgment and was wondering if this will disqualify me from the position. This is in Iowa. I am really stressing out about it, so if anyone has some info please let me know asap. I have read that it could and i have read that won't. Any info?

Do you work at Wells Fargo? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview? Any advice for someone trying to get in?

I scheduled an interview for a Teller at Wells Fargo which is going to be next Monday the 8th, but the website did not specify if it was going to be a group interview or just a one-on-one interview. Any ideas? Also this interview is not at the location I actually applied for. Pleeeeeeeeease help! I'm so nervous! I think I'm going to do horribly if it is going to be a group but I REALLY want this job!

I got hired for a teller position at WF. I know they do a thorough check and fingerprints, I had a misdemeanor on my record from when I was 16 (not theft or dishonesty) it was like from fighting with my parents. I am 21 now. They told me it was sealed and it wouldn't show up on background checks afterwards, also I've had other background checks for other companies and nothing shows up. I was wondering if it would for WF since it was when I was a juvenile and they sealed it away so nothing shows.

Hello everyone! I am a very recently hired employee of Wells Fargo. I landed a teller position and am to start training in a couple of weeks (a 9 business day program over the course of 2 weeks). My question is whether or not they pay you to train. I know they pay the mileage during travel, they pay for the hotel I'll be staying in, and and they reimburse for meals up to $40 a day. But can I expect payment for the time spent in training? Thanks in advance!!

I was recently given a contingent offer of employment about 3 weeks ago for the personal banker position. I have absolutely no criminal records and have even received a mailed copy of my finger prints about two weeks ago. I had emailed the staffing specialists at Wells Fargo asking how much longer it takes for the background check to clear and they hadn't really said anything except as soon as it clears they will email me instructions about training classes. Does anyone know how long this background check could possibly take? I mean they did offer me employment on the basis that the background check clears, however I can only wait so long! If anyone knows something, please let me know! Thank you so much.

So I applied for the Wellsfargo Phone Banker Position almost one month ago because I have a friend who currently works there and she stated that she would give me a referral. However, I have not received any notice from them stating if I was accepted or rejected for the position. In fact the only contact that I received since putting in my application was the automated confirmation email. I spoke with my friend and she stated that her HOUR person had indeed received my application and would call me, but they have not and it is driving me insane not having an answer. Is this normal for this position or is it just me? HELP SOMEONE- I NEED ADVISE!!!

Did my two interviews, did wonderful and now.. i recently got a call from Wells Fargo and got hired, now they told me i had to get a background check and finger print screening, i've scheduled my appointment for the finger prints and i've never did get finger printed in my adult ages. BUT i did get a misdemeanor C theft under $50 when i was 17 which in Texas is considered an Adult. I was offered the deferred but i instead had to pay the $500 and its on my record because they told me it was to late to take my deferred classes, etc. Basically, i'm scared they might use that against me and take the job away from me. My question is.. has anyone been in this situation and ended up getting hired? .. i really look forward to going to training, they have me scheduled to train on Oct 1, 2012. and now i'm scared they will give me that phone call that i didn't make the background check.
