Media ons Specialist/Loan Adjustor (Former Employee) –  Washington StateMay 24, 2017
I believe they micro manage and do not pay enough. I would not recommend it to other people. They expect too much for not enough. They fire and hire sporadically.

Can be a difficult place to work. the lowest position does the most work and is compensated the least. manager isn't held accountable to anything yet make the most even in bonuses the employees work hard for.

Not Supportive
Home Loan Processor (Current Employee) –  Duluth, MNMay 24, 2017
Working there you are often left to defend for yourself with little support from upper management.
They have no loyalty to employees who have put in endless hours for them and their customers.
Pros
Free lunches when they feel it appropriate

Working for Wells Fargo has taught me many things. Be a self starter and an individual. We work as a team but we also work independently to assist the needs of our customers.

Contract hire
Contract Position (Former Employee) –  Frederick, MDMay 24, 2017
I was a contract hire at the Wells Fargo Home Mortgage Center thus briefly experienced the Wells Fargo "experience". The training was extensive, intensive, and quick-paced. Our manager was very friendly but even more professional. I got the impression that as long as you work long and hard, Wells Fargo will take care of you.
Pros
Close to my house
Cons
9 hour day, short breaks, short lunch.

Operational Risk Consultant (Former Employee) –  Charlotte, NCMay 24, 2017
Great work/life balance and Wells has plenty of hubs to work from if you are located near the Charlotte area. Telecommuting is also available depending on your role and manager.
Pros
After 3 years of service, you receive 23 PTO days each year
Cons
The pay is typically below market value, you'll want to move around the bank in effort to get big increases

Operations Clerk III (Former Employee) –  Minneapolis, MNMay 24, 2017
A lot of micro managing at most levels. Long hours and monotonous tasks. Coworkers were friendly and easy to get along with. Relatively low pay for a company of this size

Personal Banker (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GAMay 24, 2017
Of course you've heard the news...and it's all true - maybe even worse.

I haven't worked there for a bit, and heard there have been positive changes. Let's be honest - they'll last for a short while until people are quick to forget then they'll be back for their money.

Doesn't truly care for employees are clients. Money is what they want.

Wells Fargo really cares about their employees. Everybody at Wells Fargo is incredibly nice even when it gets busy. Wells Fargo as a whole is constantly changing and growing and the same can be said about the culture for technology. The benefits and pay are really great and there is always room for career growth.
Pros
Benefits and pay are really good.
Cons
The technology analyst program is still in it's infancy and has room for improvement.

Great Job Terrible Call centers
Home Mortgage Specialist (Former Employee) –  Tempe, AZMay 24, 2017
Management was very unorganized. 5/6 managers had zero management experience. The other had been a stay at home mom for 12 years and was hired as a manager. Much favoritism practiced. sweeps problems under the rug to avoid scandal.

Store Manager IV (Former Employee) –  Suffolk, VAMay 24, 2017
Wells Fargo is a customer based company who believes in a vision of a one-stop shop for all banking needs. There are more than 75 different products the bank has available so there is no need to bank anywhere else, according to their business model.

The company had excellent salaries, benefits including 401k, and employee discounts, and tuition reimbursement. I I enjoyed working there my entire tenure.
Pros
Benefits, salary, team
Cons

job functions
Loan Adjustor (Former Employee) –  West Des Moines, IAMay 24, 2017
gathering short sale documentation from various Agents/Brokers. After gathering documentation further job functions include setting up the file, making sure all required parties signed the documents and prepare them for negotiator review, postponing foreclosure sale dates, ordering appraisals and making sure the agent/broker is in compliance with the short sale investor.

Team members are often great; the management may not be
Technical Writer (Former Employee) –  Minneapolis, MNMay 24, 2017
There was often great flexibility in start time, work hours, etc. The team members are excellent and make good co-workers. However, if a problem should arise, the ability to speak in confidence regarding management concerns or work environment can cost your job. The availability for long-term contracts (or to-hire positions) is very limited.
Pros
Great environment and good team members
Cons
Human resources

Did like the way The job was presented and how it actually was. A typical day consisted of taking care of the customers however you had to sale additional things to them on every single call.
