Pros: 401k, Easy to do nothing and still be paid
Cons: Compensation, Advancement, Growth, Overall Benefits are lacking
Wells Fargo by choice is a conservative company and in many ways, this makes it an appealing opportunity. Stable work/life balance, however there is very little room for growth.
The average age of the workforce is older and established. Having been in their roles for many years, some employees in the same job for 20-30 years.
This company has the 80/20 rule, 20 percent of the workforce completing 80 percent of the work.
Very little room for advancement or career change. Wells Fargo claims to retain and retrain their greatest assets, but I have yet to see this in action.
Most benefits are less than that of competitors. 401k match is only saving grace for benefits.
