About Wesleyan University

Wesleyan was founded in 1831 by Methodist leaders and Middletown citizens, and its student body reflects many of Obama's core supporters: young, diverse, educated and predominantly liberal. Since 2001, 164 of its graduates have joined the Peace Corps. The school offers a rich menu of clubs for students interested in race relations, politics, gender – more... issues, feminism and environmentalism. In one corner of campus today, blue, white and orange painted stones sat in a pile with a sign taped to a plastic orange cone: "Imagine what a cluster bomb leaves behind." – lessMore from ZoomInfo »
