Sales Associate (Former Employee), Omaha, NE – July 26, 2014
Pros: being able to construct my own schedule
Cons: not being able to recieve as many hours as desired
A typical day at Eddie Bauer with West At Home was very smooth. Training was fun and also informative due to the managers on duty. Once training was over, you were pretty much on your own with the phone calls and customers, which I enjoyed a lot. This really taught me how to always be attentive at work and remain calm under any circumstances. However, – more... it was also the hardest part of the job because I had not yet completely gotten the "hands-on" experience I felt was necessary; which a lot of my co-workers expressed as a concern prior to leaving training. – less
Customer Care Specialist (Former Employee), Omaha, NE – July 17, 2014
This is a remote company that enables you to work from home, a typical day involved setting up office work space and prepared to provide call center setting customer service. I learned additional discipline because working at home can make you want to be more relaxed however you still have to provide excellent service as you would if working in an commercial – more... office.
The hardest part of the job was the daily routine, the most enjoyable part of the job was though virtual; the managers and co-workers were great people to work with. And not having to commute to work. – less

Most of the these people have told me that I made their day better just by my cheerful attitude and the way I treated them. Customer Service Representative (Former Employee), Foxworth, MS – April 8, 2014
Pros: make your own schedule
Cons: no set posting time for hours
West At Home is an excellent employer for those who want to work from home while balancing life. Depending on the contract, there are plenty of hours to go around, although some contracts are seasonal and slow at certain times of the year. The staff are very helpful with any questions you may have. The hardest part of this job is scheduling hours, since – more... hours post randomly and one often has to "waste" several hours looking for hours before you actually see them. The most enjoyable part of this job is the flexibility of scheduling work around life, instead of the other way around. – less
