MLT- Generalist (Former Employee) – LaGrange, GA – April 5, 2017
Some of the management are awesome but ...there were too many chiefs and not enough Indians...Training in some departments was terrible because the lack of organization or being up to date with critical values, tends to make training a little confusing .
Nurse Manager, Inpatient Hospice Unit (Former Employee) – LaGrange, GA – March 17, 2017
The department I worked in was filled with many dedicated and caring healthcare providers who genuinely wanted to improve the lives of their clients. Management was misguided in their understanding of what was required to achieve best outcomes and oftentimes promoted those who quickly proved unable to meet the challenge.
When we were still under West GA health, it was a fun place to work.
Centralized Scheduler (Current Employee) – LaGrange, GA – January 21, 2016
I enjoy my job very much. The fact that I am helping someone make an appointment that they truly need gives me great satisfaction. The first two managers that we had were very knowledgeable about what the job entailed where as the one we have now is not up on the things we do. Nor does he want to because he wants things done his way even if it's not doable. We have no input on anything concerning issues that we have. He is educated but not a good manager.
I have learned a tremendous amount of skill set working for this home health agency
Home Health Case Manager (Current Employee) – Lagrange, Ga – June 16, 2015
This agency has equipped me to handle independent work environment and it has help to sharpen my judgement. The hardest part of the job is keeping up with the paperwork. The most enjoyable part of the job is becoming apart of your patient's family and how they trust your judgement.
Patient Access Representative (Current Employee) – LaGrange, GA – March 30, 2015
Learned a lot of great things by working here. However, I'm looking for career advancement in Atlanta, GA . Its very busy and steady workflow and I take on lots of responsibility very detailed oriented and willing.
I am just in need for a change in my nursing career. I love taking care of my patients. The typical work day I took between 5 and 7 patients. I have learned so many nursing skills being on a med surge floor for so many years. My most enjoyable part of my job is communicating with my patients!
Doing what I love!
So busy at times no lunch and would get off an hour late
Registered Nurse (Current Employee) – LaGrange, GA – March 15, 2014
Being a new grad RN at west georgia health was my first nursing job and I learned a lot. The staffing on night shift though just has made me intent on finding a better job that will treat its night shift staff better.
CNA (Current Employee) – LaGrange, GA – August 25, 2013
LIGHT AND CHEERFUL. EVERYONE IS AMAZING! Co-workers are so sweet and we feel like one big family. The nurses here also are very pro-learning/teaching. I love being about to see new things done everyday.
ER Tech/ Health Unit Coordinator (Former Employee) – LaGrange, GA – June 27, 2012
Patient care including basic first aid, EKG's, and Venipuncture. I learned how to care for patients emotional well being as well as physical. The management staff was great. Everyone was a pleasure to work with and resolved issues quickly. The other staff members were kind and always available to help in any situation. They were very knowledgable. The hardest part of my job was working with infants and children simply because nobody likes seeing children get hurt or sick. The most enjoyable part of my day was knowing i made a difference in someones life no matter how small that difference may have been.
