General laborer, Grafton, WV - March 10, 2016
We would leave from my boss's home every morning at 0730. We would drive from 1-2 hours away to mow Reserve Unit lawns. I learned to mow lawns earlier than noon, mow quick and complete the lawn as quick as possible. The management was great to work under. They never pushed any employee to work to fast in the heat and did not complain if a lawn didn't get finished within the time limit. I worked by myself 90% of the time and when someone else did work with me, I did not see them to have any experience with. The hardest part of the job was working in the heat all day mowing and weed eating. Completing a reserve unit under the allowed time was a great feeling and working by myself.
