I served on the Cingular pre-paid customer service agent, assisting Cingular customers with initial service activation, account information , adding more minutes to the current standing prepaid account, reviewing monthly invoices to relieve consumer concerns, transferring calls to proper department and notating accounts to reflect all things discussed
– more... during calls.
I also acted as the initial point of contact for basic device troubleshooting and technical support. As an agent I was trained to canceled customer accounts and apply credit adjustments.
The most enjoyable part of the position was being acknowledged by the Human Resources and Quality Assurance Departments for outstanding customer service and Proper Call and Phone Etiquette which prompted them to appoint me as Demonstrator for all prospective employees during their interview process.
I was also selected as one of only 25 employees to premier a new customer service line, and served as temporary floor supervisor. – less
