I was looking at the alaska unemployment website for jobs. One job was pallet building, through westaff. It had me go to www.westaff.com in order to apply. On the app, it asked for my social security number. I gave it. Today, two days later, I got a phone call from someone claiming to be from Westaff. They tol me I'd been sent an email so I could do the second part of my application. Clicked the link in my email, which was from SUPPORT@INSIGHTWW.com. The link page it brought me to asked for my email and the passcode they gave me. Did that, it brought me to a page asking for my social and my name. That freaked me out, so I didn't do it. But the application I previously filled out did ask for my social, and I gave it. So...did I get scammed? Should I give thatpage my info? Should I not have given my info on that application?

This as with most jobs that temp agencies post, is a fake job. They had a similar one posted a few weeks ago that I placed my resume for and called several times to follow up. They never returned my call. Hmmm....lets post a fake job so that we can get candidates into our database. Get a clue temp staffing agencies, we're onto your game!

This company is horrible. They constantly post jobs that they don't have. I have called on some of there posted jobs only to find out they really don't have any jobs. They just want to get you in there office to sign up with them in the event they ever have real jobs. Isn't this false advertising, how can this be legal?

Yes, I have experienced the very same thing with this company. How can they legally post openings that they don't have. The staff is very unprofessional, the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. I often wonder how people like this get hired in these kinds of jobs. I could do circles around them personally and professionally. Give me a job like this.

I worked at a welding shop for 2 weeks, hired as a welder/fitter.All I done for those 2 weeks was Grind Other peoples Bad welds, was probably the most dangerous shop I have ever worked in, even the Foreman would shoot hot sparks all over you.The Manager of Weststaff should have to go over there and work.It was the pits.
