Good company with great benefits and global opportunities
Sr. Manager, Operations (Former Employee), Englewood, CO – April 9, 2013
Pros: benefits
Cons: layoffs
The best part of the job was that is was constantly changing in order to meet the needs of the product and customers. There was no "typical" day. Each day presented new challenges with opportunities for process improvement and learning. Management was supportive and yet allowed for individual creativity. It was a very pleasant working environment.

Great people and benefits
Director of Operations (Former Employee), Englewood, CO – March 18, 2013
Pros: benefits, people
Cons: struggling business due to economy, competition
Great people and benefits, opportunities, innovation.
The most enjoyable part of the job was working with people from all over the world, learning about their cultures and achieving results together. The challenge of a large global company is competing for the budget to make things happen, especially in a tough economy.

Like my job.
Cashier (Former Employee), Madison, WI – February 19, 2013
I like to have fun while at work, and be with people that I get along with. I would rather be busy than stand around with nothing to do. The day goes so much faster when you are busy and like what you do.

Company committed to success
Director (Former Employee), HQ: Englewood, CO – February 10, 2013
Pros: if you're a top performer you'll be treated well.
Cons: when your salaray exceeds the market average, you're wearing a neon target for cost reduction, regardless of performance.
Western Union is committed to success and meeting Wall Street expectations. During rough economic times, the company is very short sighted around costs and headcount. Involuntary exits are the norm.

The hardest part of the job is to please every customer you encountered. they have different moods and behavior you have to balance your patience at the same time serve them nonviolently. And good thing from my previous firm is, I had a lot of friends and it tightened my interaction in every people i meet. it expresses my ability to caters everyone not just a part of your job but you practice it as your personal growth. – less
