Specific duties would include but not be limited to:

  • Coordinate with Facilities Manager when hiring and scheduling all kitchen staff
  • Monitor attendance record of kitchen staff
  • Participate in annual review of kitchen staff
  • Plan, order, cook food, prepare and serve meals for Child Development Center, Westminster School, and occasional church events
  • Keep accounting and inventory records
  • Work with Director of Business Administration on annual budget
  • Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the kitchen’s facilities
  • Maintain all required city, state and federal regulations
  • Prep for Sunday coffee and snacks
  • Be available to prepare and serve for Wednesday night program

Skills Required:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • Time management and problem solving skills
  • Must be able to communicate well with coworkers and teachers
  • Must be team oriented

Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma preferred
  • Two years related experience working in the kitchen
  • Annual state license or be willing to get license within 180 days.

This is a full time position with a flexible work schedule. Hours are typically from 7:00 am - 2:00 pm with the possibility of one short evening shift.
