Counselor In Training, Los Angeles, CA - May 21, 2014
I absolutely loved working at Westside JCC. It didn't even feel like work. A typical day included playing with kids on the playground, supervising them, helping with snack time, assisting with the activities, supervising as they swam, and aiding the teachers with errands. I learned how to interact with people of all ages and how to respond to different situations. The hardest part of the job was focusing the attention equally on all the children. The most enjoyable part was being able to go to play everyday, even though it was actually "work".
