We are a property management company that owns 18 mobilehome park communities throughout Northern and Southern California. We have been in business since 1989.
Currently, we have two mobilehome parks across the street from each other that need hands-on maintenance supervision – Greencrest Mobilehome Park and Westwinds Mobilehome Park. Greencrest is a 129 space all-age park; Westwinds is a 67 space all-age park.
Your onsite accommodations will be at Westwinds; however you will be responsible for the oversight of maintenance at both parks. The onsite manager at Greencrest currently oversees the office responsibilities for both parks, but with that said, there are still some paperwork duties required for this position.
Public relations/customer service is a very important part of the job. We like our tenants and it is important that they are as happy as they can be living at Westwinds. A big part of success with our goals is how you approach/resolve problems. We need somebody smart, thoughtful and innovative.
We have several spaces that we rent out to RVers and with that there is a turnover of tenants that needs to be managed. This includes showing the vacant spaces, receiving applications, and having an idea if the applicant would make a good resident in our community. You will be required to work closely with the corporate office, bringing your ideas for marketing and advertising.
You would also be responsible for serving and following up on resident rules and regulation violation notices.
This property also has several park-owned rentals. From time to time these units become vacant and require turnover rehab work or general smaller repairs, such as a leak under the sink, garbage disposal issue etc. Handle/oversee park emergencies, such as water line break, power outage, sewer back up etc. and any non-emergency issues.
Maintenance experience that includes drywall, plumbing, flooring, minor electrical, roof patching and appliance change out is a must.
Read all utility meters each month and submit them to our billing company.
We hold several manager meetings each year, usually in Orange County, which you must attend. We have training/resources available when needed. You must be familiar with your way around a computer. Resourcing via the internet is also a must. We do not teach/train basic computer knowledge; you have to know that.
Minimum of a GED and some basic ed college credits
Must be able to live onsite
