Graphic Designer (Current Employee) – Diamond Bar, CA – September 9, 2017
The people you work with are wonderful, as are the owners. However, as the company rapidly grows the size of the team hasn't grown with it, which makes for poor work/life balance. Hopefully this will be resolved in time.
Wet 'n' Wild Hawaii - Deep water lifeguard (Former Employee) – Kapolei, HI – July 1, 2017
day of work would be come in and pick a spot to lifeguard at at 10:20 head out to your zone and lifeguard the entire day. At the end of the day we clean up zones and twice a week spend an hour training on our skills.
A typical day at wet n wild was high paced I learned how to serve plates at a high pace, the hardest part of the job was being outdoors on a hot sunny day. the most enjoyable part of the job was interacting with others, like the people competing.
Lifeguard (Former Employee) – Orlando, FL – June 10, 2017
This theme park no longer exists, but it was one of the most rewarding and fun places I've ever worked. Management was very good to the employees, and there was plenty of opportunity to advance oneself in the company.
Cash Control (Former Employee) – Phoenix, AZ – May 23, 2017
Wet N Wild Phoenix was a very interesting place to be employed by.This place of employment was mostly run by high school and college students to give families and friends of Arizona a place to cool off for the day.
Special Facilities Guard (Former Employee) – Greensboro, NC – May 18, 2017
It doesn't pay a whole lot but if you're a lifeguard you'll get a ton of hours. All the supervisors and managers in aquatics were quite pleasant. It is fairly easy to get a job here if you want one because staff are always needed to keep the park running at 100%.
