Program Coordinator, Bellingham, WA - June 20, 2016
One of the things that I really enjoyed while working at WCC was planning events for the students and community members. I had to contact the people that were essential to our events. At times when I was the lead coordinator, I was in charge of telling my team of what they were in charge of, for example, budget, marketing, catering, and contacting people. During my time as a program coordinator I learned many things such as public speaking, team work, communication, event planning and social justice work Working with the other student leader was something that I really liked because I got along with every single one of them, we really build a really good connection, we solved problems together and most important we never had any problems at our time working at Whatcom. One of the hardest part of working as a program coordinator was getting in contact with the people we wanted to present or talk at one of our presentation as well as doing enough and good marketing in order for our event to tur out a successful event.
