When I started working at WheelHouse IT the culture was great. I feel like a part of the team and it was fun going to work everyday. As of late we have merged with 2 Florida companies and the culture has changed dramatically. A lot of my ex-coworkers have decided to leave and it has influenced the experience of working as a great team.
My typical day is going to the office and assisting clients remotely with their technical needs. I am the squad lead technician of the NY office and my duties are to assign the tickets that come in throughout the day and distribute the work between my team of 3 technicians. I work on higher tier issues that come in and assist my colleagues with finding solutions to problems. I am a level 2 escalation point for when level 1 techs get stuck on issues. I typically work to resolve these problems and if it's something beyond my expertise I try and either work with a higher tier colleague or escalate it to a level 3 tech.
