Whitesell sells its engineered fasteners, wire forms, and cold-formed metal components to durable products makers around the world. Typically, midsized to large OEMs, including almost every major automotive company, buy its components; among them are General Motors, Nissan, and Toyota. Its cold-rolled and cold-forged steel parts are used in applications where strength and precision are critical. Other components it makes include rubber parts, plastic moldings, tapes, brakes, wheels, clamps, stampings, and filter bottles. Privately held Whitesell has more than 25 manufacturing and distribution facilities throughout North America and Asia.
In addition to the automotive industry, Whitesell's facilities supply components to other markets, including building products; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); home appliances; lighting and electrical equipment; outdoor and lawn and garden products; and trucks and trailers. Key clients in those categories include Electrolux, Magna International, and Navistar. – less
