About Whitestone Developments
Whitestone Developments Ltd. is a family owned New Construction and Renovation Company. For the past eleven years, people in the Metro area that are in the market for a quality home have been relying on the building skills and marketing acumen of Andrew Watson and Tamara Barker Watson. Andrew is a journeyman carpenter and has been building homes for – more... more than 25 years. The partnership works well, with Andrew building homes under the Whitestone Developments banner and Tamara handling the sales aspect through Seacoast Realty.
Whitestone not only builds turnkey homes, it is also well known as a custom builder and a renovator. Forty percent of our business comes from renovations. We have added spaces, sunrooms, garages and full second stories. We have finished many basements and added miles of deck to people's homes. The renovation market is very rewarding as we are again improving a home, often with a surprising outcome.
In the last two years we have created an excavation division which does not only our own work, but also work for individual home owners and commercial clients. This division in-house allows us greater control over jobs and the time frames required for completion.
Recently we have acquired an in-house drafts person, to have the expertise on hand should our clients require it.
Whitestone builds quality into every project. We are a registered R-2000 builder, a member of the Atlantic Home Warranty Program (all Whitestone homes come with the Platinum 7 Year Warranty), and a Member of Nova Scotia Home Builder's Association.
