3 weeks or more. No one's in a hurry around here. Everyone has too much on their plate and don't get compensated enough to make the process go quickly... it's not worth it to them.

Work-life balance is decent in most departments. Pay is about average (by the standards of the publishing business, anyway). If that's all you need then Wiley is probably fine for you. Raises are small (less than 3%), and per management are going to be even smaller in the future, if they're granted at all. Atmosphere is grim after years of layoffs and outsourcing with no end in sight. Pleasant colleagues to work with, and not a bad place to work if you're young and looking for your first experience in the business, but for those not in that category, if you have other options, take them.
