Fast-Paced, Challenging Work Environment
National Practice Consultant (Former Employee), Atlanta, GAApril 3, 2014
Pros: many competent, intelligent people who work hard
Cons: not much teamwork or collegiality
Fast-paced challenging work environment. Company could benefit from listening to internal feedback prior to making big changes -- which are implemented far too quickly for long-term success.

Excellent client base and quality of staff
Senior Account Manager (Former Employee), London, EnglandAugust 4, 2013
The staff and clients were of excellent quality. Very little work / life balance, the division was hugely understaffed and all decisions were made behind closed doors. Fierce company politics

Associate (Current Employee), Orange, CAMay 12, 2013
The Partners at the firm are all very helpful, and the associates all get along great. This is extremely beneficial in a profession where stress is an inherent part of the job.

Not Creditable
Business Analyst/PM (Former Employee), New York, NYDecember 20, 2012
Willis, is the worst back stabing company I have ever worked for. I have seen then treat people like animals. Escorting people out by the dozen. Really sad. On the other hand I was treated fairly for my time there.

Inadaquate Training
Account Handler (Former Employee), Ipswich, ENGNovember 6, 2013
Pros: office was nice
Cons: bad management and training
A typical day at work was stressful, quiet, co-workers constantly shouted at by manager. Most enjoyable part of the job was 5pm time to leave. Management was terrible unless you were involved with someone personally e.g. married.

Productive and eventful work place.
Office assistant and Database work (Current Employee), IpswichOctober 24, 2012
Pros: a starbucks on the top floor and a restruant
Cons: travel and trains
My day would be comming in around 9.30 (i got the train from rochford every morning) and work until 4.40 when my train departed. I would get in and get straight to work on organizing the folders with the files and through out the day updating the databases to make sure the correct information has been added. My co workers have all different area jobs – more... and are all lovely and nice people, they regually engage in convosations about work and social life. The most enjoyable part of my job is going out at lunch time into the town and relaxing until i come back. – less

• Networking: Introduced to many different Willis employees in both the Ipswich and London office, who spared time, to talk to me about what they did and how Willis operates as a global insurance broker.

• Industry experience: Sat in on – more... many different meetings with fellow team members and met other insurance company clients when visiting their offices. Able to gain a much deeper insight into the energy insurance industry.

• International relations: Took part in a video conference call with the Energy team in Ipswich to the Energy team in Mumbai to discuss how Willis was meeting their targets. – less
