A typical day consisted of me traveling to call on roofing companies in Northwest Ohio selling them virtually anything that you would roof a home or business with. I learned a lot about the product line and the NW Ohio territory. However, the management was very poor and made it very difficult to sell products competitively in my assigned market. The hardest part of the job was just that; getting pricing deviations approved, having proper inventory on hand, etc. On the other hand, the most enjoyable part of the job was calling on my customers and meeting new people on a daily business. Also, the excitement of making a sale with as much profit as possible.
Terrible upper management and lack of any training
