Established in 1999 Windsor Continental Corporation is a privately owned and operated firm. Headquarters are located in Arlington, VA, with a Training and Simulation divisional office located in the Central Florida Research Park next to the University of Central Florida. Other regional offices are located in Southern Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Quantico, VA.
In its young life, Windsor Continental has experienced dynamic growth. And there have been a number of milestones in the company's rapid growth. With very humble beginnings as a one person consulting firm in Orlando, Florida, Windsor operated successfully as a subcontractor to the Defense Training and Simulation industry for nearly eight years.
In late 2006, the company boldly began a new chapter, and revised its strategic plans with the ambition to restructure and position itself for growth as a Federal prime contractor. Leveraging existing corporate relationships, Windsor formed an experienced team of highly experienced Mid-Atlantic Federal contractors to bid and win larger, multi-year, task-order driven omnibus contracts. To accommodate the new teaming relationships, and be in close proximity to the new Windsor customers, the Windsor headquarters was soon moved to Northern Virginia, first to Old Town Alexandria, and later to its current location in Arlington, VA.
In April, 2007, the new Windsor Team was a successful winner of the rolling admissions to the Navy's Seaport-e Multiple-Award Services contract. And the strategic planning and positioning in 2006 and 2007 led to a number of new contract awards in 2008, with new offices opening in Southern Maryland, Quantico, VA, and Orlando, FL.
During a one year affiliation with Coalescent Technologies Corporation of Winter Park, Florida, Windsor received a substantial influx of federally-proven technologies and corporate processes, which accelerated the technical maturity and corporate capabilities in 3 Dimensional virtual simulation technologies, 2D and 3D computer-based interactive courseware, supply chain management, and transaction-based enterprise asset management systems.
Now operating from program and corporate offices in the Shirlington Gateway Tower, the Windsor Team offers substantial capability and a proven history in virtual training system design, development, documentation and system validation. The company's technical approach is patterned after its successful experience in numerous other virtual training / simulation programs, guided by its established systems engineering and ISO - 9001 Quality Processes.
Windsor Continentals' continuing commitment to each customer is to fully understand that customer's requirements, effectively manage our effort for them, deliver superior products, and provide effective support to the user. This is the driving force behind the company's growing Department of Defense (DoD), DHS, TSA, other government agencies, and civilian customer base. It is the foundation of our industry reputation as a proven performer and innovative technology provider. – less – More from ZoomInfo »
