It's all up to your dept manager. I'm 31, figured I'd learn to cut meat, 25 hours a week, 10 an hour. After taxes my check each week was only 180-190. No set schedule, refused me more hours too. Alot of high school kids after 5pm and mixed ages all around. My manger was middle aged and assistant manager was like 20 so a wide range.

I had 6 months experience and worked as a cashier and the starting pay was $8.50 and I was offered $8.60. Customer service got a dollar more or so I believe. Not enough money for the work.
