Productive workday
Physician Office Assistant (Current Employee), NY – April 22, 2013
Pros: meeting new people and netwoking.
Cons: the work schedule is not flexible, its pretty much set the same time for all workers in my department.
I come into work at 8:30am and leave at 4:30pm as my occupation as a secratary in Fetal Evaluation Department. I work with a group of sonographers and nurses that work well as a team. The hardest part of the job is dealing with patient's different personalities but we keep a positive outlook on our day so things don't get too hectec. The most enjoyable – more... part of the day is us as a team bonding and getting the job done to the best of our ability, also ensuring patient satisfaction. – less

Very unprofessional
Recruiter (Former Employee), New York, NY – March 14, 2013
Pros: you can do whatever you want, not go to work, go late and still get paid
Cons: no advancement, bonuses or payraise
The VP only has a high school diploma so she is not very smart. She is also a past sales person, so she has minimal experience running a department.

Typical day involves yelling and profanity and screaming

I wish that I could give a better review
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee), New York, NY – January 16, 2013
Pros: was placed quickly in assignments
Cons: poor communication on the part of winston, lack of clear processes, low pay
Most of the staff that I have encountered at Winston have been quite friendly. However, I have found their on-boarding process for new temps to be less than impressive. The recruiter that placed me on my first assignment did not disclose that the executive I would be supporting had seven assistants in 9 months, prior to my start. On my second assignment, – more... almost 6 months after I signed on with Winston, did I learn that no one ever performed any of the background checks required by Winston, and I had to stop working at my assignment while the recruiter got my information. I was also asked to get my own education records, etc... all I can say is that this was one of the most fustrating work experiences that I have ever had. – less

Terminated without cause
Occupational Health Nurse Case Manager (Former Employee), New York, NY – June 7, 2012
Pros: good salary, steady assignments
Cons: quick to turn on disabled veterans
The company was a nice company to work for. The salary was quite good and the assignments were consistent. The concern however is that they were aware of my veteran's disability and ultimately terminated because of it. They even challenged my unemployment, and falsifyed testimony at the unemployment hearing. It cost them their case.

Recruiters Don't Really Deliver
Administrative Assistant (Current Employee), New York, NY – June 4, 2012
I was fortunate enough to get a gig that last almost a year through this agency, however, other than that, they don't deliver. I've been sent on plenty of wild goose chases with this company till it's a shame. I can't believe how many interviews I'd gone on that basically did NOT match the job description that the recruiter gave me. In some instances, – more... I've even been given the wrong address by the recruiter. A LOT of misinformation. Once, I was even told to start a job, then two minutes later, I received a call cancelling the job. It was just very frustrating. I wouldn't recommend them at all. – less
