Great pay, bad Management
Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  Aberdeen, SDApril 4, 2016
Had a close family member who worked here. They loved working there but was constantly harassed by the management team ( who is a mother/ daughter team), was disciplined when another family member was hospitalized and had to leave early. Enjoyed the co workers but Management is definitely the down fall.

Store Manager/ Repair Specialist (Former Employee) –  tulsa okAugust 16, 2015
Morning time was usually spent doing paperwork from the previous day. Reviewing and making list of phone repairs that needs to be performed. Making schedules for employees. Ordering new inventory and managing the current inventory.

Lakeville, MN Wireless World over by Lowe's has horrible management. The employees there make you feel very uncomfortable and one of the male employees there calls his female boss mama bear. It's very awkward and uncomfortable to be there. They will also fire you if you do not give special discounts and special attention to their rich customers. The one's that have an influence over the community. They charge outrageous fees to people just to sign up with Verizon when a corporate store does things for free and they are a very close bunch of people, I mean they have to be if they give each other pet names right? So they will make you feel like an outsider and only set you up to fail.

A typical day would comprise of following proper procedures, helping customers find the right devices, problem solving, record keeping and attaining sales goals. I have learned to constantly improve and adapt to a fast paced and changing marketplace. Always in the team mentality, my co-workers provided constant support. The hardest part of the job is diagnosing and addressing cellular issues. The most enjoyable part of the job is the interaction and rapport building with customers.
Pros
playing with state of the art devices
Cons
working holidays

Sales Representative (Former Employee) –  Dayton, OHJuly 22, 2014
A typical day at wireless world would take payments for customers who needed to pay their bill. I would also help the customer if needed such as answer questions about their bill, talk about upgrades, new plans, discounts, etc. I made sales to those who were new customers, needed or wanted an upgrade, replacement phone. Something i would also do is stock up on our inventory. I learned alot about different types of phone companies such as Cricket, Boost Mobile, T Mobile.
Pros
meet new people. gain experiance
Cons
not enough hours or pay.

I strongly disliked this job. Management was not good and every thing was a problem for them. They blamed others for their wrongs and the pay was not good.

Horrible place to work
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Oak Harbor, WAJune 1, 2014
This is a family run business and they are about the money they can get to line their pockets. They expect you to work all the time at the expense of your family and they pay you as little as possible. Avoid at all costs if you are trying to make a living.
Cons
the fact that this place exsists is a shame.

Phone Specialist (Former Employee) –  Mitchell, SDAugust 19, 2012
Selling phones and providing customer service to customers. I learned notable communication skills and superb multitasking skills. Co-workers were engaging and very friendly. Hardest part of the job is working with difficult customers. Most enjoyable part being able to help customers in their time of need.

Wireless Sales Specialist (Current Employee) –  Monticello, MNFebruary 24, 2014
Owners invest in their employees. They do as much as they can to motivate, inspire, and improve your overall development as a sales professional and as a person. Excellent pay structure for those motivated by incentives. If working with leading edge mobile technology interests you in any way, this place is for you.
