Inventory Associate/Counter, Fairfield, CA - November 2, 2015
Typical day at work would consist of me counting up all items in whatever store we were in? And gathering the inventory pretty much. What I learned was even tho the job seems easy its NEVER as easy as it looks... There will be some bumps in the road along the way. Management was cool. My coworkers had to be some of the most rude, lazy, immature, ghetto, non sociable people I've ever met in my life... They only spoke to the ones they knew. Any new workers that came in they didn't socialize with them at all and I thought that was quite rude. The supervisors didn't do a good job showing me what to do on my first day of work either. The hardest part of my job was when they told me to count faster. Now I don't have a problem counting faster, but when im counting A LOT of items I would rather take my time and make sure the count is correct and accurate instead of just trying to rush through it. The most enjoyable part of my job was when we finished our inventory count early and got to go home early. Especially if we had to be at the location early in the morning.
