Great job for a student
Front Desk Receptionist (Former Employee) –  Superior, WIJune 30, 2017
Any students that are able to snatch this job up should go for it! Aside for the daily task force, which should take you about 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes during the evening.

When you are done with that you have time to work on homework or to just catch up with your managers and fellow coworkers.

They will make you feel like you are apart of a family here and there is no better feeling than loving the place you work and feeling as if you belong.

I thought the best part about working here was that you knew you were striving to help a great organization fulfill a mission that has real meaning, unlike most stupid jobs.

Associate Web Producer (Former Employee) –  Madison, WIMarch 13, 2016
WPR is a thoughtful, intellectual organization that produces fantastic programs. Their dedication to balanced news, and stimulating stories for on-air production was a fantastic environment to spend time in.

An atmosphere of creativity and competence
Reporter (Current Employee) –  Madison, WINovember 27, 2015
Every day is different so getting bored is unlikely. I learned a lot of new softward, since we change digital editing programs fairly often. Management is not involved in day-to-day activities directly. The hardest part of the job are the hours on election night and the lack of good pay for longtime workers. The best part of my job is getting out of the building to meet new people and write about a variety of topics.
Pros
Management lets those with good ideas and gumption do enterprise work
Cons
pay
