About the Company

WBL is a rapidly growing, small business financing company located in midtown Manhattan seeking loan processors with at least 3 years of experience in a lending environment.

About the Job

Loan processors research and analyze the financial strengths and weaknesses of loan applications. Job responsibilities include:

  • Communicating with sales representatives to obtain borrower documentation
  • Ordering credit bureau reports, UCC, title and property searches, payoff statements, business formation documents and other information to advance a new loan request for credit approval
  • Documenting all approved loan requests and preparing them for closing
  • Updating the loan system database with all required information
  • Supporting overall preparation of a file for closing as specified by management
  • Analyze income documents
  • Evaluate business and personal credit reports
  • Presenting research and recommendations on applicants to loan committee

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Comfort working in fast-paced environment with occasional overtime
  • Ability to learn quickly and willingness to work flexible hours
  • Clean background check
  • Available for employment immediately
