Westerman, a division of Worthington Industries, is looking for a Cost Accountant-Inventory Specialist in Wooster, OH. This person is responsible for the Epicor costing process and insuring the accuracy of Gross Margin reporting. Also responsible for coordinating the weekly inventory cycle counts.

General Responsibilities:

-All aspects of job costing, creating and reviewing standards on finished goods and sub-assemblies, developing BOMs, reviewing job variances

-Job creation and completion including direct labor jobs and maintenance jobs

-Assists with subcontract shipments and receipts in Epicor

-Inventory management, coordinates the weekly cycle counts, oversees material issuing to jobs and finished goods/sub-assemblies receipt from job to inventory, manages serial number tracking in the system

-Creates daily pick tickets & delivery tickets for customer shipments

-New part creation and part maintenance


-Business administration principles

-Cost accounting principles

-Data and financial analysis (margin and variance analysis focus)

-Problem solving and troubleshooting skills

-Interpersonal relationship skills

-Two years or greater education in accounting, finance, or equivalent

-Minimum of two years work-related experience

-Experience with Epicor preferred

-Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment helpful
