Senior role that leads the program to develop, maintain and govern the enterprise architecture (EA) across the organization. Maintains and fosters key stakeholder relationships (Business and IT), while ensuring EA (and downstream) activities across the organization are effective, consistent, and aligned to Business strategy. Also, assists with professional development of other Enterprise Architects and technical leaders in the organization.
Key Position Results
 Technology direction (roadmaps, models, solutions, etc.) is developed in alignment with Business strategy, goals, drivers, and requirements
 Roadmap execution items/solutions are adopted and benefit is realized by respective stakeholders
 Existing and emerging technologies (innovation) are applied in an effective, efficient, collaborative, timely, and beneficial manner to the organization
 Enterprise IT standards (products and product usage) are kept up-to-date and aligned to organization requirements
 Unneeded complexity (primarily technology, also process and people) is continually driven out of the organization
 Strong relationships with key stakeholders (Business and IT) are maintained and fostered
 Strong professional development of Enterprise Architecture team

Critical Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
 Exposure to and experience with multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments
 Experience and deep knowledge of all components of holistic enterprise architecture, especially from a TOGAF perspective
 Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, team building, facilitation and negotiation
 Experience with all aspects of a project from design through development, testing, implementation, and production
 Familiarity with information architecture and management practices
 Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to all stakeholders, including those who do not have a technical background
 Excellent planning and organizational skills
 Knowledge of business re-engineering principles, processes, and change management
 Basic knowledge of financial models and budgeting
 Familiarity with basic graphical modeling approaches, tools and model repositories
 Ability to translate business needs into EA requirements
 Ability to estimate the financial impact of EA alternatives
 Ability to rapidly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies
 Ability to map application portfolio from current state to future state (roadmap) with tools, standards, activities, and sequencing included

Education / Training Required
 Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
 Seven+ years of experience in at least two IT disciplines (such as technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management or operations) in a multitier environment
 Experience in ERP systems architecture including Middle Tier / SOA
 Experience and understanding of manufacturing business processes is a plus
 Experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (Oracle EBS) or JDE a plus
