I love working at WP Engine. It was my first real introduction into the start-up world and I couldn't be happier about it.

WP Engine is a great place to work
Support Technician L1 (Former Employee) –  Austin, TXJuly 3, 2015
WP Engine is full of some of the nicest people you will work alongside. The environment is cheerful, the lunches are free, and there is a town hall meeting every Thursday where the state of the company is communicated to everyone. They value transparency there.
The hardest part of the job, by far, is the hours. Be prepared to have phone calls, hipchat messages, and emails at all hours of the day. I had to cut out from a social function once because I was getting work related messages at 11pm on a Friday. This happened multiple times.
Pros
free lunches, amazing people, happy environment
Cons
long hours, undefined job roles, free lunches

Financial Analyst Intern (Former Employee) –  Austin, TXMay 29, 2015
Average place to work. Work is okay but can be hard when you aren't as up to date. Little to no room for mistakes accuracy is expected 100% of the time. However I did experience new facets of finance.
