Working for the 13th Judicial Court System
Digital Court Reporter, Tampa, FL - May 11, 2012
On a day to day basis I arrive to work on time and prepare myself for court with required steps to ensure an accurate quality audio is able to be recorded. I closely work with Judges, Attorneys, Clerks, and Bailiffs during court sessions. When court is not in session I am required to complete quality control of previous court hearings performed by my coworkers. Majority of my coworkers and I work well together as a team by supporting one another with scheduled court changes. The hardest part about the job is the unpredictable work hours due to the unset time of court proceedings. The enjoyable part of the job is how easy it is to learn the digital recording system and working with a group of amazing coworkers.
