The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will play a significant role in driving sales and new business for Xignite. As a member of the sales team, the SDR will initiate tele- and email prospecting with key decision makers at targeted verticals, generate interest in Xignite solutions, and schedule information meetings between prospects and our Sales Reps. Other responsibilities will include administrative support and special projects which directly impact sales growth.

  • Conduct detailed calling and email campaigns to decision-makers at targeted verticals which generate interest in Xignite
  • Research companies and people online using LinkedIn, Google, and other resources
  • Respond to inbound telephone, email and web inquiries and create Leads in
  • Document conversations and interactions to maintain accurate sales database records
  • Schedule meetings with prospects for the Sales Team using Outlook and Google Calendars.
  • Educate leads on the company's services to facilitate qualification efforts
  • Create Order Acknowledgements and cost proposals
  • Track Sales Orders and Phone logs
  • Support Sales Managers in preparing PowerPoint presentations for meetings and kick-offs
  • Uncover reasons driving client/prospect inquires
  • Understand the prospect's evaluation and decision making process
  • Learn Xignite's product and solutions
  • Learn about the Financial Investment Industry

Direct day to day activities of this position will be supervised by the Senior Sales Representative, and the role will ultimately report to the Vice President of Sales.

Xignite is looking for candidates with expert organizational and administrative skills, including experience using, strong written and verbal communication skills, proven decision making ability and attention to detail. A successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, resourcefulness, efficiency and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of post-collegiate work experience, preferably in a software company environment.
