Women’s Health Program Coordinator

The WH Program Coordinator works in partnership with YW Patient Navigators to ensure clients access breast health services and support. This position performs administrative activities but also works to ensure clients are connected with appropriate services.

Key responsibilities include:
 Assists with identification, registration, and referral of participants including intake, eligibility determination, and enrollment documentation.
 Works in conjunction with the Women’s Health Patient Navigators to schedule and staff mammogram screenings, community events and health fairs.
 Performs Appointment Reminder and Follow-up Survey calls for all clients served by Women’s Health.
 Maintain program database including demographics, services, and referrals.
 Record, gather and compile information for a departmental reports and records.
 Develop collaborations and positive working relationships with community organizations, boards, and committees to effectively address program-related issues.
 Develop, seek out, and maintain culturally diverse materials, flyers and curriculums to support the programs and mission.
 Recruit, train, maintain and supervise qualified volunteers to assist in the implementation and execution of programs.
 Provide input for the design of community-based programs to reflect community needs.
 Assist in preparing statistical reports.
 Performs various bilingual support duties for other YWCA of Metropolitan Dallas programs.

Desired Skills & Experience
 Bilingual English/Spanish REQUIRED
 Bachelor’s degree
 Professional phone manner; strong administrative skills with attention to accuracy and detail
 Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing; Well organized, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; Proficient in MS Word, Access and Excel
 Physical ability to be mobile and work in enclosed and shared areas
 Local Travel required
 Ability to work flexible schedule required
