Interesting tour of service, replete with micromanagement and absentee owner/leadership. I was hired to reduce outsourced technology costs, and then micromanaged into ineffectiveness with restrictions of system administration, editing of every communication, tried and tested support practices were stiffled and bottlenecked by an overly critical and complex form driven approval process.
A young organization with confused ideas of managing their own company. Principle was personable but not directly involved with small office staff and had guarded access by gatekeeper management staff.
Benefits were a step above minimal, pay was below average -
Culture was based on the oppressive micromanagement shadow.
