Yellowbook is a storied organization with years of great history and financial accomplishments. Everyone is familiar with the yellow fingers or the thick, colorful directory dropped on your doorstep as children. While employed at Yellowbook, it was made very obvious that advancement was based on favoritism rather than aptitude. This was evident in senior management being overlooked for opportunities to capable staff being let go due to perceived "attitudes".

The organization did recognize its employees, but the recognition did not include monetary compensation.Information was not always divulged from the top down, so employees were often blind-sided by changes to processes within the hour. – less

A stepping stone company, very dog eat dog environment. Huge turn over, no one was very happy. I did meet some very nice people and I learned a lot.

Yellow Book was a great learning experience for me. There was room for advancement. I started as a Temp Data Entry Clerk and work my way up a Graphic Artist.
