Headquartered in New York, Yellowbook has regional offices in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. It has hundreds of local Yellowbook offices throughout the US.
Sales and Marketing
Yellowbook offers multiple targeting and placement options for advertisers, including top-of-page banner placement to gold placement with video ad features. Prominent paid ads typically require a 12-month contract. Through Yellowbook's WebReach product, advertisers can get their business ads placed on popular search engines like Google and Yahoo!.
Strategy
Over the last couple of years, Yellowbook has been beefing up its mobile offerings, which is being driven by smartphone and tablet popularity. In 2011 the company launched a new version of its US Yellow Pages app designed for Android tablets. The app features map-based business listing results that make it easy for users to find a particular business.
