JOB FUNCTION: As application developer/software engineer, you will work with the C-Suite to align technology products and solutions with strategic business direction, align corporate culture with company values, plan and implement IT infrastructure, maintain a hands-on role in the development of technology-based products, build an effective and efficient IT team, and establish relationships with external partners.

Contribute technically to projects
Assist in the development and execution of the company’s technology budget.
Research and present technical solutions aligned with the strategies, goals and priorities of the company.
Understand and appreciate company objectives to ensure they are consistent with team priorities.
Ensure the team fully understands the goals and objectives of Yemyo as a company and how their work fits into the ‘the bigger picture’.
Hire, supervise and develop technical staff.
Assist in the development of policies and procedures that align with the Yemyo culture and ensure business efficiency, quality products and strong customer/partner relations.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
B.S. or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
Proficient in database design and SQL
Strong architecture background and ability to design scalable solutions.
Proven track record of leadership in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
Proven record of continual learning and network building.
Strong spoken and written communication skills.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
5 Years of relevant work experience with technical, analytical, project and supervisory responsibilities.
Experience with remote and/or global business operations.
Dedication to unit testing, code review and other quality-oriented practices.
