This was a company I had worked for while in Atlanta that luckily had a position open when I first moved to the city. I loved what the company stood for and so I jumped at a chance to work with them again, though this time in the development department.
I don't love asking for money, but found it interesting at the various ways you could go about doing it. My boss was a little scattered and a micro-manager, so it was hard to get things done because he was always questioning my methods or my way of doing it. And for very little thanks during big mailing campaigns, which took its toll.
The rest of the company was fun and found solace in their positive energy to keep me going. We did a big fundraiser and it was my job to get all the items to be auctioned, which was TONS of work but I loved it. We raised a record amount of funds that year and I felt very proud of my work and how it paid off.
