About Young Life
Young Life Open Door is a ministry dedicated to opening the door of abundant life in Christ to teens with disabilities through caring friendships.
We seek to unconditionally welcome all young people with disabilities regardless of color or religion. We are committed to providing opportunities which address the full spectrum of human needs--physical, – more... social, emotional, and spiritual. We believe young people with disabilities have the right to participate in all of life's opportunities. These include:
The chance to experience growing and fulfilling friendships
The chance to engage in activities that challenge their physical limits
The chance to experience social/cultural activities, promoting self esteem and awareness
