1) Mental Health Clinician, LPC/LPCC or LSW/LISW required. Master’s preferred. Provides counseling services to clients and families on an outreach basis, in the home, school and community, specifically mental health assessment, clinical support, individual and group counseling, family therapy, treatment planning and case management. Coordinate family treatment needs and meet the clients where they are. Strong organizational skills and internal drive and motivation are necessary for success in this position.
2) Family Counselor in the Foster Care Department working with Foster Parents, birth parents and foster youth in their homes and schools. BA degree required, Master's preferred. LSW, LISW, PC, or PCC required. Solid diagnostic and treatment skills needed. Knowledge of early childhood development and trauma reactions a plus. Must be flexible, organized and team oriented. The Foster Care Family Counselor provides mental health assessment, clinical support, counseling, treatment planning and consultation to youth in care, families of youth in care, treatment foster parents, and other treatment team members relative to their role as described in the case plan. The Foster Care Family Counselor coordinates and links children/families with needed services available within the community and/or at YAS. The Foster Care Family Counselor is responsible for monitoring assigned foster homes and foster caregivers and for ensuring compliance with ODJFS. The Foster Care Family Counselor is expected to fulfill on-call duties as scheduled by the Foster Care Program Manager.
